Join African Voices for a special celebration of art and activism!

We’re launching our Summer/Fall 2025 issue honoring Harry Belafonte, with an opening exhibition by Brooklyn artist Watson Mere, whose work graces the cover.

The event also features poetry and readings by contributors, with Keisha-Gaye Anderson, award-winning poet and guest editor, in attendance.

Donations welcome — come share in an afternoon of creativity, community, and tribute.

The event will be held at the AV Gallery, 325 Lafayette Ave. (corner of Grand Ave.) in Brooklyn.
