Tired of getting ghosted by grant applications? Whether you’re making a Harlem-themed doc or an animated short, you’ll learn how to finance your film without losing creative control.

This interactive workshop pulls back the curtain on how to actually raise money for your film—without giving up ownership or control. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned filmmaker, Jeff walks you through proven strategies to lower your budget to something achievable and raise that first $5,000 to $10,000 to get started. This hands-on workshop is for creators on every level and will walk you through the basic tools you’ll need to achieve the very first steps in funding your film. Discover multiple funding pathways: angel investments, brand partnerships, rebates, and crowdfunding options.

Reel Sisters is supported, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts, West Harlem Development Corp., New York State Council on the Arts and private donors.
